I've been using a Garmin StreetPilot i5 for almost a year and love it. I've accumulated quite a few places in the unit's Favorites. Many of them were saved by physically being at the location of the Favorite (as opposed to entering an address).

Is there any way to download Favorites FROM the GPS unit? I want to load them to my PC and then duplicate or transfer them to another Garmin unit?

I am thinking of buying another StreetPilot for our other car and would like to have the same Favorites in both units. I assume this is also a common issue when people upgrade their GPS units, but I searched and found nothing helpful yet.

I am considering purchasing a gps and I am confused when I see GPS and Nuvi. I want this for automobile travel.

i have a nuvi 1300 lm series gps and im trying to find a way to make it show the map, destination, streets, etc. of Mexico and I've checked the Garmin site, but there seemes to be nothing there about Mexico as a country. If you know how to download or a website that can give me the maps, it would really help.

what do all the different numbers mean on the Garmin GPS units?

When I program addresses into my garmin gps, you can not space the words, like if I put, "Parents house", it has to be smooshed together like "Parentshouse" because there is no option to space. I would really like to know if its possible to put a space in, the model is nuvi 255W.

We have a 2 year old Garmin c340 GPS that does not recognize routing to destinations using ferry services. This tends to send us many miles and hours out of our way if we don't quickly realize the problem and adjust for it. Our newer Garmin Nuvi unit does recognize ferry service but the older c340 does not. Is there any way to upgrade the older Garmin c340 so that it will recognize ferry routings?

So tonight i found a GARMIN GPS in a puddle while walking down the street wiht two friends, i brought it home and i can't figure out the PIN to it, i plan to bring it to the police station when i get the opportunity to but for now i want to reset it and see what i can get out of it.

I just bought a Garmin Nuvi 265T GPS navigator and I love it so much! I just went to the website and downloaded the different vehicles and voices into my GPS, but I was wondering if there are other sites to do that so there are more options? I want more voices especially!

I am in search of a garmin handheld gps navigator that is a great investment. I want the garmin handheld gps to be easy to use and understand. The garmin handheld gps should be travel friendly and have a max price of 500$ (wont mind a cheaper garmin handheld gps).
